Everyone wants to preserve the memory of their wedding day. Traditionally this entails an involved search for a reputable wedding photography firm, and then sitting down with them and trying to explain what you do and do not want. Many wedding photography packages can be thousands of dollars and all you may end up with is a flashy book. You will no doubt end up with some great shots, but will have to put up with the distraction of a photographer roving around or jumping in front of the action during the wedding vows. Is she crying or has she just been blinded by the flash?
Once you have made a short list of photographers it is time to meet them. The first thing that you want to see when you are interviewing photographers is a portfolio. Take a look at some of the weddings they have photographed in the past. Do you like the pictures? Are they well done? If you have a particular style of photography that you like, then look for that in the photographers that you interview. In essence you are looking for a photographer whose work, style, and personality matches what you want your wedding pictures to look like.
They want to see the gown and the brides face as she walks down the aisle, and they want to feel her excitement. You get the idea.
