Select a theme for your big day and match the tone of your text with the look of your stationery. For example, you shouldnt mix a contemporary pattern with a dated message. As easy as it may be to follow tradition, it isnt always possible with some wedding announcements.
It is often said that the flowers at a wedding were "As pretty as a picture" and they remain so captured in the photographic images forever. But, as it is also said: "A picture paints a thousand words..." so what might your wedding flowers be saying about you?
2. Budget getting a little tight? Cut or buy 3x5 or 4x6 note cards in a color that coordinates with your wedding (simple cardstock paper will do the trick). Dress them up with embellishments or keep them simple. Place them in a basket or spread them out on a silver platter. Place a framed card on your guest book table instructing your guests to leave their names and words of advice for the bride and groom. Later on, you can put them in any standard photo album.
