Most Grooms want to give a good speech, one that is warm, meaningful, sensitive, witty, humorous, and that reflects the significance of the occasion. They will want to produce at least a few good belly laughs from the audience. They will also want to overcome their natural nervousness and inability to put their heartfelt emotions for their new Bride into words. This is no mean feat for any man, not least when you are doing so in front of people that you hold so dear.
While a church wedding will "request the honor of your presence, and informal ceremony will often "request the pleasure of your company" instead. The rest of the wedding invitation wording can follow the guidelines above, unless special instructions need to be included because of the venue where the ceremony will take place. By the mere wording of the invitation, guests will know that the day will not be a formal occasion, and will be able to plan and dress accordingly.
Firstly you have to decide who will be invited to the wedding. This is where you will have to draw the line between going big and bold or having a small, intimate gathering. Of course you can invite anybody you want but the deciding factor will probably be your budget.
