The perfect word or phrase can set the tone for any special occasion. Presidential hopefuls, civil rights leaders, and corporate spokespeople all know the importance of the written word. Before they were spoken, most of the greatest speeches in history were mulled over as they were being written.
For second wedding, Miss Manners recommend to brides with second marriage to talk to their children first before making the public announcement. Then the next person that they should talk to is their parents before the ex-spouse. Miss Manners says that a bride, who does not have any child from her ex-spouse, fails to tell her ex about her engagement does not violate a Wedding Etiquette. According to Miss Manners, the bride have no obligation to her ex-spouse unless they have a children of which they have joint custody.
While a handmade wedding can be beautiful, keep in mind that it is not always a way to save money. Some brides are tempted to turn to handmade ways because they think it will be an excellent way to save money on something. Often they discover (all too late) that by the time they add in the cost of making something and their time -- they have "spent" an equal or higher amount to what buying that item would have been. So just like marriage -- only have a handmade wedding because you love the idea. Doing handmade projects for any other reason is simply going to frustrate you and stress you out. Finally, if you are not the crafty type it is also likely that you won't catch on to a craft or sewing project easily the first time -- so you'll need to actually double or triple the cost of making something. For that cost, it completely makes sense to buy the item!
While many people will persuade you to share your thoughts with your special one on what he or she plans to write for his or her wedding vows, I for one am not in support of that. My personal belief is to keep your wedding vows locked up either in your heart or inked on paper till you have to present it to your beloved. Therefore, grab hold of a pen and start writing down all the good things that come to your mind when you think of your special one; both words and also complete phrases if any hit your thought waves.
